Hi.
Today I have an issue with a DCO 8.1 installation. Disk space finished and system halt. I see that there are some many file in pg_xlog (each file occupy 16 Mega Byte) and I see in a forum that postgree must automatically remove the old (I see file old tha three month so I manually remove it, it is the only way to retrive space) . I removed all file until 31/05 and now system work again, but I cannot reach the DCO web page, system return me 404 Error.
There are some other operation that I can do? There is a way to reduce this file creation I see that after re-starting when system is restored at 11.00 there are 5 file of 16MB each has been created.
Regards.

Hi Davide,
Manually deleting the system/database files should be avoided, you might risk loosing the data. I would basically suggest the following option, that may give you a reliable setup:
1- Save the current backup files (usually located in the folder /data/backup) somewhere safe (such as network drive)
2- Make a clean/fresh installation (at least 100 GB disc space would be recommended, see System requirements)
3- and then restore the latest completed backup file.
(note: due to disk space issue, some of the latest backup file(s) might be incomplete - check the file size, incomplete backups might be smaller in size).
Kind regards
