DDF for APV9601

Hi Team!

I'm wondering if there is a DDF for Easy UPS SRV series with SNMP card APV9601?

Hi Evgeny Razdobarov

The APV9601 (SNMP card for single phase EasyUPS) does not require a DDF as it uses the generic UPS DDF.

Dear Evgeny Razdobarov,

According to Mian Aqeel good answer from post :

Found a solution from one of my colleague.

APC Easy UPS Online SNMP Card
 APV9601
  • Remote monitoring and control of an individual UPS by connecting it directly to the network.

  • Integrates with StruxureWare Data Center Expert :An IT-ready, scalable access monitoring system that collects, organizes, and distributes critical alerts, surveillance video and key information, providing a unified view of complex physical infrastructure environments from anywhere on the network

That is, the latest version of DCE-7.8.0, for example, already has built-in support for this SNMP card: there is no need to import a separate DDF-file.

With respect.

Hi @GavOB hope you are good, and found answers above,

Here are some problems i faced during integration and want to share it with you,

  • Your DCE Expert Version must be greater then 7.6 that have stable DDF file for this UPS other wise UPS logs will not appear on DCE as per actual.

  • If you have a down version of DCE you should visit this
    https://sxwhelpcenter.ecostruxureit.com/display/public/download/How+to+update+DCE+v7.x

  • Please Also visit this for help , really helped me in my case for Data Center Expert | Security Information (Ports, Firewall, Vulnerability Scans, Database, etc.)

Just leave it here:

Easy UPS 3S SNMP card uses ppc DDF file.

So if your DCE's version is lower than 7.8, you need to go to DDF page and search for "PPC UPSMate UPS" DDF file.

Note: If you are using the latest DA807 SNMP card in your Easy UPS 3S, then please ensure to enable SNMP version 3 on the SNMP card before discovering it in DCE software. SNMP version 1 is not supported in DA807 type card
