DCO server should be connected to Puplic LAN or Private LAN ?

When am I supposed to connect the DCO server to the Public LAN (Client server Network) and When I supposed to connect it to DCE Private LAN ?

Hi Sameeh

I have always connected DCOs to DCE via the DCE Public NIC.  FYI the DCE Private NIC is not IP routable and is designed for a stand alone monitoring network only - a great feature in cases where the customer has to pay for IP addresses and/or switch ports.  You can build a stand alone "monitoring LAN"
