In DCO, Is there any impact if we change a genome’s “Model name”?
E.g. Change "Rack PDU 2G, Switched, ZeroU, 32A, 230V, (21) C13 &(3) C19(AP8953)" to “AP8953”. Reason for doing this is for ease of reading and populating the loading excel template for loading.
Will there be issues if there is a software or genome list update where the list of genomes is refreshed, causing invalid genomes model names errors or something similar?

Hi Lai Yuan,
It's okay to change the model name, in our latest tests we have tried changing few model names (in Genomes) and applying the latest patch without any problem. Furthermore, you are also editing the local Genomes, so nothing should be effected there.
Kind regards

Hi
as i know, you are going to modify your "Personal Genome"
you cannot modify the "Dco Genome", the one that you can upgrade every month.
in your "Personal Genome" you can modify all
