We have done the DCO ETL Export Database and we can connect to the tables. We had browse the tables and most have data in them except the below 2:
Our DCO has custom properties and also cages so these two tables should contain data. Please advise how do we troubleshoot this?

I would delete the External System, drop the DB then recreate DB and External System.
Let us know how that goes

Hi Lai
Which DCO version?
Does the configuration_item table have rows?

Hi Lai
I created a Floor Plan and a cage with a row and some racks.
I was able to see a cage and its size via ETL export DB and some more details via the REST API. The doco entry at ETL Export Database (snip below) is not 100% clear to me w.r.t how to get the Free Space but it looks like you have to calculate it based on what's in the cage? I hope not.
Cages and Rows
In the internal StruxureWare Data Center Operation model neither rows nor cages are part of the equipment parent-child hierarchy.
When exporting configuration items from StruxureWare Data Center Operation, this is hidden from the user, and the natural parent-child hierarchy is build.
The relation is realized by having each configuration item reference its parent through the parent_id field.
The area of cages are fetched from the StruxureWare Data Center Operation webservices and associated with the configuration items representing the individual cages, in the table configuration_item_property.
The area-property is named CageArea, and the area is expressed in whatever unit the webservice returns.

Would Schneider revised the documentation to confirm what does data does the Free_Space table provide?

We have deleted the External system (from the DCO client) and the database (from DCO webmin) and then re-create everything again. The 3 tables that are empty are still empty:
Please help.

Hi Lai, (Lai Yuan Jiun)
free_space : currently not used, so it should not contain any data (it is basically there for possible future usage).
configuration_item_tag: any tags associated with the items configuration_item, are exported to configuration_item_tag. If your export data is empty, then most likely you do not have tags defined in the setup, otherwise we need to have a closer look at you setup?
configuration_item_relation_custom_property: any CustomProperties associated with the relation in configuration_item_relation table..., eg. custom properties on relations (such as network connections in DCO). So if you do not have defined custom properties settings on connections, then the table/data expected to be empty, otherwise we need to have closer look at your solution?
Hope this helps,
Kind regards

Thanks Jef, it's all good now.
free_space : noted it is not used currently, so will ignore it. For any tables that are not used, suggest to provide a comment at the ETL schema documentation page so that users are clear about it, thanks.
configuration_item_tag: Turns out that I have tags created but did not tag any equipment, once I tag a rack I can see data in the table.
configuration_item_relation_custom_property:Noted, was confused with the custom property table and did not realize that this is custom property for relations
