Hi,
Does anyone have any experience of bonding two network interfaces in Webmin to allow redundancy of network connections on the DCO Server ?
How does this affect both the JAVA and WEB Services ?
Regards
Stu

Hi Stuart,
I am Winnie from Hong Kong. We have deployed NIC bonding at DCO 804 cluster (both physical servers have NIC bonding) without any problem for 1 year already. It is a generic CentOS NIC bonding so you can follow CentOS recommendation.
If you do it at webmin (after DCO is deployed in production), you will need to stop network manager and manually write /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth* and /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-bond* etc.
Regards,
Winnie
