Hi Mike,
From what version?
During the upgrade, did you see nay error messages being displayed?
Depending on the complexity of the setup, upgrade may take some time (even hours) to be successfully completed. Upgrade process shall not be interrupted, otherwise server will be left in bad/unrecoverable state. Manually rebooting the server, while the upgrade is in progress would damage the database. When the server is in bad state, then the best (or only) option could be a clean installation and then restoring the latest backup file.
PS: the latest release versions are DCO 8.3.2 and ITA 9.0.4. If you/customer should wish to stay in DCO, then 8.3.2 is recommended otherwise I would go for ITA 9.0.4.
Kind regards

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the info - the status page is usually showing the status of the application, I guess (only guessing) either the services was starting (if the upgrade was successful) or mot likely the upgrade was not finished yet (as mentioned it may take some time even hours to be completed). So apparently by forcing the server to reboot, the upgrade job have been interrupted and left the server in unrecoverable state. At this moment, I think the best option is to make a clean installation of 8.2.12 (but 8.3.2 is recommended) and then restoring the latest backup file.
It is also highly recommended to save the backup files (/data/backup) somewhere safe (for safekeeping) such as network drive.
Kind regards
