According to our network team, our DCE must change IP-address
and I need DCO 8.0.4 script for correcting association against the DCE,
for the moment, I only have this DCO 7.5 script: repair_associations_75
After the change of DCE-IP-address, we also need do to IP-change and
HW-change for: DCO, ITO and Portal…, any script needed, or so???
Thanks in advance,
Jörgen Nilsson

Hi Jorgen,
This 'repair_association_75' script can also work on DCO 8.x, but it is highly recommended to take a fresh backup before applying the script.
And concerning the hardware/IP changes on other servers:
for DCO: backup/restore would be recommended. You can easily take a backup from the current setup and then restore it on another server ('new server' with updated hardware/IP).
for Portal: backup/restore would be recommended.
for ITO: let me ask Greg (Greg Sterling) for a recommended advise, thanks.
Kind regards

Hi Jorgen (jorgen.n.nilsson)
If you only need to change the integrated DCE IP, then it seems you do not need to use the script. You would only need to update the integrated DCE IP in External Systems Configuration (in DCO).
Note: as usual take a fresh backup, before doing any changes.
The repair_association script maybe used when the integrated DCE sever changes its MAC identity.
Kind regards

Hello Jorgen.
If you change the IP address of the ITO server, you only need to edit the ITO server entry in the external systems definition in the DCO desktop client to reflect the new ITO server IP address. No other changes on the DCO server should be required.
