Hi,
Have anyone tried DCE using gmail smtp to send email alert? I am keep getting the below error although the login username and password is correct.
I have enabled account access for less secure app from the following search, but yet unable to send.
https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255
Test environment:
Home network - no firewall etc
DNS set to google public DNS, no issue for DCE to ping smtp.gmail.com
DCE 7.2.5
smtp.gmail.com port 587 enabled secure SMTP in DCE
** have disabled 2-Step Verification, and other steps in the link but shows no luck.. anything I have missed?

Law

Found the root cause. Need to ensure which google account you have signed in when enabling "less secured app" in the below page
https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps
no issue with port 587

Have you tried using port 25 instead? I usually have better luck with port 25, SSL enabled.
