Hello everyone.
I just configured all devices in DCE and its working great, even added DDFs files for new devices and they are working as expected.
I am integrating DCE with a Network monitoring system (Nagios) using SNMP Traps and I am receiving the traps just fine. But I get too much useless information in the trap that I dont want, that information is in the message field for SNMP.
Is there a way to configure the message that DCE sends to the Monitoring System, just as I do for sending mails?
This is an example of a message that I receive as Trap.
"B7fbf77_nbErrorCond_87928E65 Alarma de dispositivo 14 B7fbf77_nbSNMPEnc5C105037 MANEJADORA UE ALT-02 (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) 44 69 73 70 6F 73 69 74 69 76 6F 20 64 65 20 72 65 66 72 69 67 65 72 61 63 69 C3 B3 6E ISUnityDP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx SALA DE ALISTAMIENTO EMPRESA C.A 1565801736 1565801917 Active Message has returned to normal."

Text in bold is the information I want to keep
Thanks in advance.

Hi Erik,
Sorry but no, you can't edit the info sent in a trap. I can provide you info on what that data is (see below links) but if you wanted only a limited subset of info, you'll have to use e-mails or short e-mail messages and use macros to specify the data you want.

Hey Steven,
Thanks for your quick answer. Instead of sending traps I managed to create scripts that sends the exact information I need, the problem is that I need to create a Script for every service of every host.
