I have a server that has been trying to update a netbotz for a long time (many weeks). the firmware update status tab just shows a partially completed bargraph but does not progress. It looks very similar to this post:- , except I do not have the Firmware update failure messages and the Cancel Pending updates is greyed out.
It seems to be a fault with the Netbotz because I can't update it directly either. But what I want to do now is stop the server from trying to update this device in the Firmware Update Status tab. Several reboots of the server and disconnection of the Netbotz from the DCE server network have not helped.
Any suggestions please?

Hey Garry,
Looks like it's stuck on the DCE side of things. If you can't update the NetBotz using the DCE or Advanced view, I suggest a more direct method. If you're on the same subnet, you can use k-base FA176133 and do a manual TFTP update. Not sure it'll clean up what's happening in DCE but the TFTP upgrade option shouldn't fail. What version are you currently at and what version are you upgrading to?

It has been trying to update to 4.5.1 (I think) for a long time. Think it was on a lower 4.x before that.
Pretty sure the Netbotz is on its way out because it is not playing well with the 2 attached cameras either. That is why I wanted to update the firmware...
I will try the TFTP method too anyway when I get chance.
Thanks

Maybe take it off-line if you're still having issues...I'm assuming this is one of the units connected to the DCE server with the failure to load model issue?

No it is not - same site - different server on a total isolated network.
