Dear Minh,
If you have the backup file of the DCE version to which you want to downgrade, then please create the same version of USB restore key and then restore the backup of the version to which you want to restore.
In order to receive the older version download link and procedure to create the restore key, please contact local country technical support.
I hope it helps.
Regards,
Bala

Hi Spezialist,
The reason is we got lost a month of historical data of all devices after I upgraded. My gut feeling that the upgrade to version 7.4.2 might caused the lost of data.
I did upgraded on 16 Feb 17, and I just found out all historical data did not saved or lost since 16 Jan 17. All device's sensors reported flat line from 16 Jan - 19 Feb 2017.
During that period time the DCE still generated alarms and functioning as design.
Wondering has anyone got the same experiences ?
Thanks,
Minh

Yes of course, I learned about this problem DCE-7.4.2 at once as soon as executed updating of the DCE server at myself (I always carry out standard check of functioning within days after the DCE updating). Surprises why you didn't notice it the whole month...
I solved this problem is very banal: executed change-over, for example, of dashboards and etc., on again appeared new sensors (I use more than twenty 3-phase APC UPSes). Device alerts I didn't recustomize or change, as for the Smart-UPS APC, for example, the built-in alerts are used, which normally work also in DCE-7.4.2.
In your case, it is necessary to be guided by :
-- if monitoring of customized alerts (are tied to old sensors, which now in the unplugged state) needs to be restored immediately, then:
If you have updated to v7.4.2, are monitoring affected devices, and you have a backup of v7.4.1, you can restore your server from backup. You will lose the historical sensor data collected since you updated to v7.4.2. Contact your local Technical Support to assist with questions about server restore and backup
-- if you don't want to change something in the existing DCE configuration, then just it is recommended to wait for new release of DCE-7.4.3:
If you have updated to v7.4.2, are monitoring affected devices, and do not want to lose any historical sensor data, you can continue to use v7.4.2 and update to v7.4.3 when it is released. Sensor status will be reported as unplugged until the v7.4.3 update is applied.
It seems to me, the last option is more acceptable: you will lose historical data since the updating moment to DCE-7.4.2 and until updating to future DCE-7.4.3. After updating to future DCE-7.4.3 all old sensors, will pass from a unplugged state to the normal state and will be available to monitoring and for customized alerts.
It seems to me, only two of these options are available to you no more, if you don't want to lose even more historical data...
