Hi Carlos!
DCE can not interact with PLC.
If you need to read values from PLC, you need DDF file which describe your PLC to be uploaded.
When you activate Modbus TCP output license, DCE acts like modbus server and you can define some registers for monitored devices and then your SCADA can read them via Modbus TCP.

Hi Carlos,
The AP95MODBUS license key allows you to read device information from DCE using Modbus. You can have an SNMP or Modbus device being monitored and with that key, you can read up to 247 devices' information from DCE. It does not allow for writing to DCE.
DCE is already able to read Modbus devices without that license key.
