Hi team,
We have an installation with DCE 7.8 with a remote synchronized backup configuration. We would like to restore from a backup of two days ago, but we can only see the option to restore from the last backup done or from the first full backup copy.
It is not possible to restore from a different synchronized backup? We do this backup every night.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @jzurera ,
Synchronized backups add the newest data to the previous sync backup from the same DCE entry. It simply keeps making it a larger backup but remains the same backup. If you want the ability to back up to specific points (2 days ago, yesterday, today), you'll have to create a full backup for each point that you'd like to be able to restore from (2 days ago, yesterday, today).
Thanks,
Steve
