I am trying to run backups of DCE 7.2.0 to a windows share. It test mounts successfully, and when requested to run a backup, creates a 3.6 Mb file in the share folder, but concludes that backup failed. When I go to the struxureware server, it states
IFS VFS: Autodisabling the use of server inode numbers on\\sharename\sharefolder . This server doesn't seem to support them properly. Hardware links will not be recognized on this mount. Consider mounting with the "noserverino" option th silence this message"
Can someone explain this.
Thanks

Ryan,
I addition to Breda questions, do your corporate policies require NTLMv2? If so, that would be the reason we are able to test mount but fail during the backup. Please let us know.
Thank You
