Good day all
Please assist.
I am struggling to find an easy way to run a report - in DCE &/or DCO that can do the following for me;
- total power in current (amps) for cabinets - Row A - to Row I,
- total current for individual cabinet
- total current per feed (Single phase A feed and B feed, Three phase A feed and B feed)
Currently, I am simply extracting all the current for each PDU, for each row and for each power feed. This is extremely exhausting. Is there a simpler way of creating this report?
Thank you in advance for taking the time to respond. Much appreciated.
Kind regards

Hi Juice,
If you're saying that you have for example 10 amps per rack and you want to see A-I added together, you'll want to use virtual sensors in DCE. A virtual sensor can sum or average numerous values.
If you have multiple PDUs or other values per rack, you can create rack total sensors, row total sensors, room total sensors, etc. Setting this up may be time consuming but you have to only do this once and running future reports is as simple as running the reports on the virtual sensors.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Juice ,
We developed a Framework with a third party to work with DCE and DCO reporting system which can generate pretty much any type of report you want to generate from these systems using SOAP/REST/WEBSERVICES etc.
I have attached sample of few reports that we have done for couple of clients. Mail me offline and I may be able to help you with the same.
