Hi Jeneive,
The DCE VM trial is capable of most all the same options the full version is capable of. The limitations you should be aware of are:
1: you can not upgrade the DCE trial VM
2: You can not add full licenses (you can add other temp licenses) to the trial VM. Options such as the modbus output license is included in the ones you can not add.
3: You can only add 5 nodes to the trial VM. Even though it lists 25 nodes, you will get an error message that you have reached the device count limit if you try to add a 6th unless that VM is activated.
