When a sensor point is reporting back as Unplugged how is this interpreted by DCE in regards to Alarms/Thresholds?
I have setup an Other State, State Mismatch Threshold where it alarms if is not set to active. It is currently reporting back Unplugged but not alarming, whereas I believe it should.
Are the listed states supplied via the DDF?
Is there anyway to setup a sensor point to alarm when it is unplugged?

Hello James,
Generally speaking, when a sensor is being report as unplugged this indicates that DCE is unable to gather the value for that sensor. This could be that the SNMP OID is either no longer returning data or the data string that is being returned is not in the expected format. Is this an APC device or a 3rd party device? Has anything changed on the devices network card (I.E firmware update)? If this device is a third party device I would recommend contact our dedicated team that creates DDFs by emailing multivendorsupport@apcc.com
Thank You
Victor

@VSales It is a third party device. I have multiple devices the same and sometimes the sensor is unplugged but it seems I an unable to create an alert on it.
