Hi team,
in a DCE 7.8 installation all the users configured in the system are receiving alarms from a Netbotz 550 that has problems. We knew that user with server administrator role receive these kind of alarms, but it in this case all the users are receiving the alarms, and there are not alarms configured for this Netbotz in DCE neither in the Netbotz.
Regards

Hi @jzurera
Any alarms on a NetBotz appliance is sent by the NetBotz itself. DCE can't e-mail you based on something like a temperature threshold that's set on the NB550. What DCE will do however is e-mail you if there is a communications lost event between DCE and the NetBotz appliance. There is currently no configuration for this, it is automatic. Any user that has both access to the NetBotz appliance in DCE via user rights AND has an e-mail associated with their user account / login, will receive e-mails about the communications issue.
More info on this can be found here:

This has been a known issue for some time and brought to the attention of engineering. I will add this post to the report on this issue. Currently, the only workaround for this would be to remove the e-mail associated with the user(s) in DCE:
Thanks,
Steve
