I would like to configure 5 minutes delay in email notification only for device communication lost.
How can I do? I want to apply it to default notification policy. Is it possible?

Hi Mate,
There is currently no way to edit the communication lost threshold to include a delay. What you can do is to create a delay in the Alarm Action but you would probably want to put that in a separate notification policy and not in the default policy. Perhaps you want to put a feature request in for your customer. That can be done under the device support, feature request menu.
Thanks,
Steve.

Hello,
I would say your suggestion is a workaround instead of a solution.
As I know delay Comm Lost alarm is not possible in Default notification policy.
If I don't use the Default notification policy then I have to create another but newly added devices should manage manually and add to that custom notification policy.
But - and this is the huge disadvantage - only Default notification policy gets the APC device devices tresholds, so if create a custom I have to take care about it.

Hi Mate, You're absolutely correct, it is a workaround.
Currently, there is no option to add a delay for the lost comm event. I've made this suggestion as well but please feel free to use the resources–>feature request option on the top of the page. The more often product management and engineering see these requests, the more likely they are to actually add the feature to the product.
Again, yes, it is a workaround but if you need this functionality now, I see no other alternative.
Thanks,
Steve
