Hi Afsaneh,

If those units (AP9465 / StruxureWare Data Center Expert) are operational and accessible from the DCO side, then they can be integrated in DCO (desktop client) System Setup (1) > External System Configuration (2),  click on "Add server" (3) and Select "StruxureWare Data Center Expert" (4), "Next" and then continue the configuration.

Read more here: Configuring external system integration

And for network ports/firewall port details, please see the fooling page: StruxureWare Data Center Operation Network Firewall Port Details

Kind regards

Dear Jef,

Thank you so much for your answer. Could you please tell me the part number of DCO? and the quantities of the node is it important to choose the part number of DCO for buying?

As a qualify, the first data center has 30 node (IP equipment), the second data center has 50 nodes, and the third data center has at least 100 nodes. Is it important as an option for choosing DCO part number? or just the quantities of Rack is important? like this:

Hi Afsaneh,

You are most welcome.

In DCO licenses are Rack based, eg. it counts the number of racks in your setup. For example if you have 96 racks in your data center and would like them to be modeled in DCO, then you would need 100 racks license. You can add more when needed.

For more info, please visit the following page: Managing licenses, in particular the section "About DCO licenses".

Kind regards

Dear Jef,

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, those Ap9465 are basic, so could I integrate them in dco or not? Is it necessary to change hem from basic to operation due to integrating into dco?

And one more question, AP94VMACT has the operation option and can I integrate it into DCO? or is the same as AP9465 basic?

Best Regards.

Hi Afsaneh,

Both physical and virtual DCE appliance can be integrated in DCO (as external system).

AP9465 is a DCE physical machine (basic model) and can be integrated in DCO.

AP94VMCT is a product name for DCE Virtual machine, that can also be integrated in DCO (as external system).

Both physical DCE and virtual DCE would need to be installed/setup first (DCE software installation and setup), so the DCE server(s) can monitor you data center.

When your DCE (regardless of being physical or virtual machine) is setup and working, then you can integrate the DCE server(s) with you DCO.

Kind regards

Dear Jef,

Could you please help me to choose a part number? I do not have a DCO right now and I need it, but I don't know which part number would be used.

There are 450 Racks, I searched and I found AP900500 as a result for dco but it is a license, I don't know that we need a hardware for running DCO or not? Does it need an ap9475 for activating ap900500 license?

Best regards
