Hi,
I have a netbotz 570 and I connect the rope leak sensor (nbes0308) to the correct port but I can't see the sensor either in web view neither in advanced view. It's seems like there is no sensor connected to the netbotz appliances.
The nbes0308 is compatible with the netbotz 570 (view this link)
Sorry if my english was bas, I'm a french speaker.
Edit 1:
It's seems like I have to configure External ports in Advanced view. But I don't know how to fill this form.
Thanks in advance.

NBES0308 should look as per the picture which is shown on our website.
http://www.apc.com/shop/in/en/products/NetBotz-Leak-Rope-Sensor-20-ft-/P-NBES0308?isCurrentSite=true
The following Inventory should have been there in the NBES0308 box. In case if the adapter is missing, then its cause of the issue. You should use the Rope Sensor Cable adapter for it to be recognized by the appliance.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Bala

Hi,
If possible, could you please verify once again to see if NBES0308 is connected to the Leak Rope Sensor Port on the 570 Appliance?
It should detect the sensor on advance view. There is no need to define custom dry contact or analog sensors. The NBES0308 sensor should be detected and shown on advance view after it is connected to the correct port on the appliance.
If it still does not show up as the sensor on advance view, then I would suggest to make sure if the Water Leak Sensor is in good state if you have another working Netbotz 450 or 570 appliance.
If there is no other appliance available to test, then I would suggest you to try resetting the appliance to factory defaults and try connecting the Water Leak sensor to the Leak Sensor port on the appliance. Please take the backup of the current Netbotz appliance configurations on advance view.
There are two methods to restore the factory default settings (including user ID and password) on a NetBotz V2/V3 300, 400, 500 series monitoring appliances. Keep in mind that ALL threshold and alert recipients will be reset using this process.
Method 1
How to restore the appliance to factory defaults if you know the admin username & password:
WARNING: When restoring the appliance to its factory defaults, only the appliance IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway settings are preserved. All other settings are reset to factory defaults by this procedure.
http://
Configuration reset requested (keeping basic network settings)....
Reset Initiated
If factory default does not help, then I would suspect the problem may be with either sensor or the appliance port for which you may contact your country service support for further troubleshooting/to obtain replacement if they are under factory warranty.
I hope it helps.
Regards,
Bala

Hi Balaraman Jagadeesan and thank you for your answer.
Yes, the NBES0308 is correctly connected to the Leak Rope Sensor Port on the 570 appliance.
I don't have another netbotz but I have another leak rope sensor with which I plug it into the netbotz appliance. I have the same results.
Before resetting, I wonder if what I had is really a NBES0308 because I don't have Rope Sensor Cable Adapter and Instead of having 4 brooch at the end, I have only 2.
Once again thank you for your help.

Hi Balaraman Jagadeesan and thank you again for your answer.
Finally, I think that I have the APC AP9325 (Not the NBES0308).
I have to do something to detect this sensor in advanced view?

The Leak Roper sensor needs to be connected to the Leak Rope Sensor dedicated sensor port on the Netbotz appliance to get it detected on Advance View. I presume that you have got the Rope Sensor Cable Adapter as well as shown in my previous post.

With the AP9325, we don't need the Rose Sensor Cable Adapter (see this http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/ASTE-6Z5QA8/ASTE-6Z5QA8_R1_EN.pdf?sdirect=true)

I have not tested AP9325 with Netbotz 570. Is there any particular reason that you want to try AP9325? As per the Netbotz 570 User Manual, the leak rope sensor part number is NBES0308. I will let the other community members also suggest on AP9325. If it works, then it should be detected by Netbotz 570.

The AP9325 is the only leak sensor we have (When we order, the dealer suggest us the AP9325). Otherwise, we don't have any particular reason to try the AP9325. The AP9325 will work with other appliances such as...? Thanks.

As far as I know, AP9325 is used with Close Coupled Air Conditioners such as In-Row Cooling Units. NBES0308 is the correct part number to be used with Netbotz 570 for Water Leak Detection. NBES0308 comes with all the parts such as rope leak sensor, rope sensor cable adapter & CAT-5 cable in order to connect to Netbotz 570's RJ45 connector type Water Leak dedicated sensor port. I also let other community experts to suggest if AP9325 can work with Netbotz 570 appliance as I do not have an experience with it. If AP9325 does not get detected by Netbotz 570 appliance, then I would suggest you to try NBES0308 as its listed as supported sensor part per manual of 570 appliance.

Ok, thanks. If AP9325 can't work with the netbotz 570, I'll try the NBES0308. I'm waiting for your feedbacks. Thanks again.

Hi Sylvestre, I am sorry that I am not able to confirm whether AP9325 can be supported by Netbotz or not as I do not have AP9325 with me. If you have AP9325 already with you, please see if you can connect it to the appliance and see if it gets detected by the appliance. If not, you need to use only NBES0308 as described earlier.
