I have two NetBotz 570 connected to the DCE but have constant communication failures between the DCE and the netbotz.
The sensores appear as offline but if you use right click on the mouse to use the option "Request a Device Scan" or "View device Sensors" for a couple of minutes the sensor / Device appears ok, but after that returns to the offline.
The DCE sends the alarm notification "The device is offline due to a timeout or connection error"
how can i solve this issue i´m using the DCE 7.2.4.42 , the netbotz as OS Version 4.3. (build 20131213_1348), my main concern is that i have some alarms notifications depending of this sensores

Hello Antonio,
To address you main concern, the NetBotz are responsible for their own notifications and DCE is just a data repository. So emails for thresholds are configured on the NetBotz units.
Generally speaking "The device is offline due to a timeout or connection error" indicates that DCE did not receive and update in time when if requested information from the Netbotz appliances. Unfortunately, DCE does not support timeouts and retries when communicating with NetBotz appliances. So to eliminate lost communication all together we have what is called Post Only Mode. By setting the NetBotz to post only mode DCE will no longer request data from the NetBotz unit but NetBotz will post data to DCE based on a configurable interval. Please search FA158263 within the link below for instructions to place a NetBotz in post only mode.

Hello Victor
Thanks for the quick support on this matter.
I tried the Proposed solution, but keep on giving "TimeOut".
Is there anything I can do to solve this issue.
Send in attachement the log file from Netbotz
