I need assistance with database. We are needing to change the label for every device in our database, is there a way to make the changes offline and then upload the new database?

Hi Stine,
We do not support editing the database in DCE. As for Device Labels, they are automatically generated based on information from the device. As you can see here:
That label has the IP in parenthesis but starts with a label that is generated from here:
Look at this Name field and you'll see it is the same as the first label in my list.
These names can be changed manually, through DCE's SNMP configuration option, as well as in most cases SNMP. Here is the OID for this cooling unit showing that same value:
It will be different OID for a PDU or for a UPS.
