Can i know where can i get the updated genome library for DCO?

I understand from the training of the DCO by Schneider that we are able to obtain the Genome Library updates and import into our DCO, can i know how to go about this?

Hi Terence,

The Genome Library is currently updated with new versions of Data Center Operation. You are not able to download updates from the internet, but if you have equipment that is missing can you always create it yourself.

Updates to the library should be made more frequently. The entire NetApp FAS 8000 series doesn't exist for example.

Agreed. While, yes, we can make our own, its a best guess form us and we are then stuck with that decision for ever more because 'if' the new genome ever comes for the product we make the one we "guessed" at is not replaced. If we got it wrong, in any respect (weight, dimensions, power etc) we are stuck with that forever. There needs to be a way to have the temporary genome updated when the production one becomes available. My 2 cents

Thank you very much for your comments: As you might already have seen on EcoStruxure IT Help Center are we working on the new feature called "Add my device". This will improve the way of requesting Genome updates. It will also make it possible to get genome updates independently of a new release of Data Center Operation. It is still en beta test, but feel free to request new genomes. Thanks Jesper
