In DCO 7.4.5, how do we set the cable type when bulk connecting the rear of 2 patch panels in different rooms? Setting the cable type individually, after bulk connection, is really not practicable and, although I can right click the cable and set the type, when I click OK, the type reverts back.
Thanks

Hi Ed,
If I understand correctly you have difficulties changing the cable type for already patched/modeled connection(s) between two patch panels - usually that should work without any problem. Perhaps the issue is already fixed in 7.5, so I would suggest testing the solution on a 7.5 setup. If the issue remains unresolved, then it would be great if we could investigate it in our lab (then I would need a copy of the latest backup + details/illustrations about the problem patch panels/cables).
And you are right, setting the cable type individually can be very time consuming task, so here is a good news: multi-editing the cable type is now supported in 7.5 (as a new feature).
Here is an example/illustration:
In "Network Cable Browser", select your connection (by using the shift+arrow keys) > right click > "Edit multiple items". From the drop-down list for 'Edit value for', choose the "Cable Type", and then continue and select the new value for your cable type.
