Dear Faruk, I would verify if the BCMP responds to Modbus Over TCP register IDs as per the DDF file request Register IDs by using any freeware Modbus scan software. Were these sensor values responding with values before? or Is the BCPM added newly to DCE 7.3.1? Is this issue there from the time of integration with DCE? If not, when this issue has started? Could you please confirm if there is an Ethernet gateway between DCE and BCPM? Does BCPM register IDs poll and respond to the poll when you can scan the BCPM values before gateway via Modbus RS485?

Hello Balaraman

Thanks a lot for your reply. All the connections to the Modbus devices are fine.

The issue with the sensor values shown as "unplugged" was after I have upgraded to the latest DCE version 7.3.1.
After the roll back to the prior version those issues have dissapeard.

I have also faced issues with the NSX, Masterpact, BCPM devices sending communication error from dce, but the network connection is available at all the times, between all this devices I have a egx100.

I assume there is maybe an issue with the DDF's?

Dear Faruk, I do not think there may be an issue with DDF as the sensors values are not unplugged errors with the previous DCE version(I assume version 7.2.7). After upgrading to DCE to version 7.3.1, Its good idea to verify if the respective Modbus Over TCP DDF file is added to version 7.3.1 if the Modbus over TCP sensors values are showing unplugged. You can also if the sensors values start showing after the DCE modbus device polling as per Global Scan Settings. Global Scan Settings can be checked under Device--Modbus Device Communication Settings. While the DCE shows unplugged for the sensor value, please use the modscan software to see if the value responds to the polling via Modbus over TCP polling. Note: I would suggest you to take the Full Backup of DCE before upgrading the DCE version.

Hi Sirs,

I can report that after the migration from 7.2.7 to 7.3.1 all the Modbus Devices are in status "unplugged"

Only the snmp devices work and show values. Normaly a simple upgrade of client version don't have to be an issue for us!

hope you will find a solution , for me the solution for the moment is to restore the back up of the server..

Dear Balaraman
I have verified the DDF and there were in, I have also tried to remove one and re-add again also adding a new device does not work, it just shows the status "intializing".

Any changes under polling settings does not help, I have realized that under the column "last seen online" it says "never".
