One of my customer data center where we have installed APC racks, PDU, cooling units, UPS , Power Panel. etc. this phase of the project is successful.
Now My custumer wants to install EMS/Netbotz Rack level monioring of temperarure and humdiity etc. We are planning to offer him StruxureWare Data Center Expert in which we will integrate all Netbotz Rack Monitors and other SNMP devices.
My customer is also asking for asset management solution for his data center, I asked what exactly he is looking for asset management, He said all of the equipment placed in the data center racks, cooling units, UPS of APC and 3rd part UPS, Electrical Panels, Rectifier all are his asset now he wants to manage all of asset from a software e.g. work order, spare part available in store, spare part issue, etc.
Please clarify my following questions:
Thanks,
BR

Thanks much for your reply, After reading and watching the video i understand that i need StruxureWare Data Center Expert & StruxureWare Data Center Operation.
But i don't see any thing related to asset management the way my customer is asking.
In my customer data center their are 100 of racks but none of them for any customer who can access it and see the power and temperature etc, also my customer does not have metered PDU.
In short i want to know that if i purchase StruxureWare Data Center Expert in which following devices are integrated:
Can i manage all above asset by using StruxureWare Data Center Operation? MANAGE definition is on one single window customer should be able to know what asset he have in data center, its name model number , what spare parts related to this equipment are placed in the store room.
Customer would also be able to issue spare part using same asset management system and it will generate work order kind of thing etc.
If all above things are possible please share the part number reference which i need to study before i share it with my customer.
Thanks,
BR

HI,
DCE has a simple report function where you can generate basic inventory report, temperature, and humidity. You can see what kind of devices you have, the number of them, IP address, etc. The Temperature and humidity report is the same, you can see all sensor current readings. DCE report function is just that. If you want I can attach a few screenshots, how it looks.
