Hi Yang,

There is a way of adding third party devices into DCE simply by importing their DDFs. This option is available under: Device>SNMP Device Communication Settings> Device Definition Files> Add/Update Definitions.

You need to provide MIB(Management Information Base) file of the third party device from the OEM to your local SE Technical support, who can asses this integration.

I know how to add 3rd party devices in DCE. We have already added 3rd party devices in DCE. What I know is that DCE does not support handling of traps from 3rd party devices. My question was if DCE is going to support trap handling when traps are received.

As you say currently the DCE does not handled 3rd party SNMP traps.

We will track this as a feature request in our system for future versions of the product.
