After I upgraded DCE to 7.5.0 all the Servertech PDU are in alarm for "Temp/Humid Sensor Temp_Humid_Sensor_A1: a Not Found condition exists"
The DDF file that came with this upgrade is causing this, in fact when I remove the DDF file the alert go away. Is there a way to change the DDF file. I have tried to send this to the DDF team using the Device Support web page, but without any luck
I am using the old Sentry DDF file but it is not working for all the PDU in my environment.
If someone has the same problem and you got the DDF file modified can you please send it to me.
Thanks

Dear Vincenzo Fantino,
I am using the old Sentry DDF file but it is not working for all the PDU in my environment.
I.e., in the previous version of DCE software (prior to upgrade), did you use old Sentry DDF-file? And while you did not have the above problems? I understand you correctly? If this is the case, after upgrading to DCE-7.5.0, the Sentry DDF-file was probably modified.
Therefore, there are two ways to solve your problem. The first is to remove the modified Sentry DDF-file from DCE-7.5.0 and import instead of it your old Sentry DDF-file from the previous version of DCE software.
The second way is, if possible, to disable the alarms on the Device Alarms tab for this ServerTech PDU such as "...a Not Found condition exist".
There is a third way - it is the most correct one. For example, simply searching by the keyword tech and by the type of PDU device leads to this result on Device Support:
That is, at least we have three records for this vendor and its PDUs, which are supported by DCE software. Probably you need to try all of them and maybe some of these DDF-files will work fine with your PDUs and with the new version of DCE-7.5.0.
I hope this helps you.
If there are more questions, please ask 😀.
With respect.

I have disabled the alarms for each rPDU. This was the only workaround I could use. I would have prefered to have a modify DDF so I don't have to disable the alarm every time I add a Serverteck rPDU.
Thanks
