Good Day,
I have been reading this forum and saw that people are having issues to connect modbus devices.
I currently have a netbiter ec310 and have issues adding it to DCE. I also noticed that the Netbiter does not have DDF files for DCE.
Can anyone help and or enlighten me on this issue? Downgrading is not really an option at this time.

Hi,
Adding devices to DCE can happen across Modbus TCP or SNMP. Please confirm what mode you want to poll the device and send in the relevant Register maps or MIB to multivendor team and they can easily do it for you, I don't see a challenge in this.

I am trying to connect via MODBUS TCP and it keeps timing out. I will get the DDF from the multivendor team.

Yes, you just need a correct DDF for Modbus device and it works like a breeze.

just to add to this, the netbiter 310 appears to be a modbus tcp gateway, similar to schneiders egx100, therefore when you make your modbus ddf request, it will need to be for the end device that its monitoring (eg generator, pdu, ups, switchgear, etc), not just the netbiter itself.
