Feature Request
Add a column in DCE which shows the connection type (SNMPv1, SNMPv3, etc). I am trying to figure out which devices are connected via v1 or v3 and this column would make it really easy to sort by.
In the meantime, is there a way to tell? other then just logging into the device...
Regards,
J

Hi John,
You can see the protocol type of each SNMP device by going into Device–> SNMP Device Communication Settings --> Device Scan Settings.
In regards the added column for protocol type. As a workaround, you can right click on one of the device and select "Add Custom Property" and call it Protocol Type and give it a value for SNMPv1/SNMPv3 for the selected devices in your environment.
I will request this to be added as a feature request, but since there is a workaround for this, it might not be considered or added to the next release of DCE. The more people that request this feature the more chance that engineering will decide if it will be added.

Thanks for the work around solution. After reviewing it, it is a partial solution. I can see which devices are SNMPv1 however I can not view the "Model" in this view. Because not all APC products support SNMPv3, I am unable to quickly sort out which items could be switched over.
Items which do not support SNMPv3:
Masterswitch PDUs
AP9319 Environmental Monitors.
It will take additional cross-referencing to solve...because another pet peeve of mine is that not every list, screen, etc is available for export. If it was, this could be handled quickly in excel.
