Is it possible to verify/change network settings on DCE virtual machine via the VMware-console. The splash screen for the DCE virtual machine console warns that system login without direction from Schneider Electric support will void warranty. Virtual DCE server will not ping following Network settings change although VM server is powered up and console is responding with logon.

Hello Barry,
Via the console you can you log using apcinfo/apcinfo to view the current network settings. If something needs to be changed, you can log in using apcsetup/apcsetup (defaults, unless otherwise changed).

Hi Cory, thanks for the quick response. Will logging into the DCE console using apcinfo/apcinfo or apcsetup/apcsetup void the warranty.

Hi Barry,
Logging in with those accounts (apcinfo & apcsetup) will not void a warranty. There are limited actions that can be taken within them just to view network settings or change network settings.
Kind Regards,
Cory
