PowerChute Virtual machine shutdown?

Hi,

A client is seeking assistance with the following in his virtual Environment:

We currently use a virtual infrastructure, and would like to achieve the following in the event of a serious powerfailure:

1.      We would like our virtual machines to shut down automatically.

2.      We would like the host servers to shut down automatically.

Hello,

It would help to know what type of UPS the customer has, and if they have a Network Management Card in that UPS.
Also, what type of virtual infrastructure do they have? Are they using VMware or Hyper-V?
Are these standalone Hosts or are they part of a VMware HA/FT Cluster or Hyper-V Failover Cluster?
