NetBotz monitoring SNMPv3

Hello guys,
I'm having trouble with SNMPv3 monitoring of NetBotz 550.
Problem:
I have always monitored the NetBotz 550 that you have in the company via SNMPv2 through Zabbix, after the last update to version 4.6.3 of the NetBotz Advanced View monitoring via SNMPv2 has stopped working.
From the documentation, I confirmed that SNMPv2 was deprecated in version 4.6.3.
This way I configured (as directed in the documentation) the monitoring via SNMPv3:
https://www.apc.com/dm/en/faqs/content/?id=FA323442
https://www.apc.com/dm/en/faqs/FA358759/
But even so, after configuring SNMP I still have the invalid / unknown user.
Has anyone ever had anything like this?
I thank you all.

Dear Luciano,

Hopefully, according to Release Notes NetBotz v4.6.4.pdf, you reboot your appliance, as outlined in section Known Issues:

I hope this is what you need.

With respect.

Hi,

I performed the tests as directed, and it worked correctly.
I just updated the SNMP settings, created a new user to make sure the settings and everything went well after a manual Reboot (NetBotz Advanced View > Tools Reboot Appliance).

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Luciano,

The first thing I notioced is that you're set up for MD5 AND DES yet your command-line is set to "authNoPriv. If both are configured, it should be "authPriv". Here's how I set up for authNoPriv:

C:\usr\bin>snmpget -v3 -u Luciano -a MD5 -A LucianoLuciano -l authNoPriv 570-1 .
1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0
DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (746) 0:00:07.46

Thanks,

Steve

Just an FYI, my free command-line SNMP utility does not support encryption so I could not use DES. DCE 7.6 has an SNMPwalk utility on it's web page which I was able to use for MD5 and DES on a walk to that same bot running 4.6.3::

When I try to run SNMPWALK with the incorrect Security Level settings, the following error is returned:
snmpwalk: USM generic error

So I believe that the problem really was related to the problem described by Spezialist.

I greatly appreciate your help, it is a very healthy and participative community.
