Data center expert upgrade from 8.0.0 to 8.1.1 (thick client install)

Preparing for an upgrade of 8.0.0.154 to 8.1.1.  Is there a new thick client upgrade that needs to be installed with this release ?  I suspect so, but asking to confirm.  Our rollout/upgrade needs to account for about 20 thick client upgrades, so want to understand if its required..   Just takes more time on our side to include the workstation upgrades, and if I dont need to include, the process is much quicker.  Thanks, Ned

Hello @NedFields,

Each release of Data Center Expert has its own client.  The Desktop client can be downloaded for pre-installation before upgrade via the upgrades link that either technical support provided or is available within the EcoStruxure IT Help Center if upgrades have been enabled for you.
