I am trying to find the meaning of the following alarm message in Geoscada. "Unknow status in encapsulation header".
Secondly, does Geoscada provide an alarm history page showing Geoscada configuration, internal software alarms that come up due to invalid tag settings or missing tag configurations, or any other alarm not associated to the status value of the tag?

You haven't told us what kind of object this alarm message is occuring in relation to.
But here's what ChatGPT says...
The alarm message "Unknown status in encapsulation header" in Geo SCADA Expert typically indicates a communication issue between the SCADA system and an outstation, often related to the encapsulation layer of the communication protocol.
Protocol Mismatch: If the communication protocol between the SCADA system and the outstation is incorrectly configured or incompatible, it can lead to errors in the encapsulation header.
Corrupted or Malformed Data: Transmission errors or data corruption can result in malformed encapsulation headers, causing the SCADA system to be unable to interpret the received data correctly.
Driver or Firmware Issues: Bugs or compatibility issues in the communication driver or the outstation's firmware can lead to unexpected encapsulation header statuses.
Check Communication Protocol Settings: Verify that the communication protocol settings (e.g., DNP3, Modbus) are correctly configured on both the SCADA system and the outstation. Ensure that both ends are using compatible versions and settings.
Inspect Network Stability: Ensure that the network connection between the SCADA system and the outstation is stable and free from interference or high latency, which could corrupt data packets.
Review Driver and Firmware Versions: Check that the communication driver on the SCADA system and the firmware on the outstation are up to date and compatible.
Monitor Diagnostic Logs: Use Geo SCADA Expert's diagnostic tools, such as the Events List and Server Status Tool, to monitor for any related errors or warnings that could provide more context on the issue.
Test Communication Independently: If possible, use a protocol analyzer or communication testing tool to independently test the communication between the SCADA system and the outstation, identifying any anomalies in the encapsulation headers.

This is an EtherNet/IP error. In EtherNet/IP, the encapsulation status code indicates the execution status of an EtherNet/IP command. It's a 4-byte field within the encapsulation header, providing information about the success or failure of the command being executed.
Geo SCADA has a list of supported status codes (see below) and this alarm indicates that the status code isn't in the list of known codes:
What status code is being reported by your device?
What kind of device are you using?
