I want to take the result of a query and write that result to an Internal Point. I have structured the query to return a single value, but I am unsure of how to map this to an internal tag. I assume I can accomplish this in ST, but I am having difficulty with how to code it.
Any help would be appreciated!

The ODBC driver is specifically designed to map the result of a query onto a point, see Introduction to the ODBC Driver in the help. This driver has its own points rather than using internal points.
