Trend ruler value missing data
When showing a processed historic trend, the operator’s have noticed that the trend ruler will not always show the value in the bottom info panel at times. I believe this happens when the ruler is placed at a time in between logged historical data points (screenshot attached). Is there a way to either make the ruler snap to logged data points only or interpolate the value?

This depends on which algorithm you are using for the processed historic trace. If you use an algorithm like "Interpolated" then the ruler will also interpolate the value at the current position, but it doesn't support some of the other algorithms (such as "Average").

Thanks for the reply. Using the interpolated algorithm does fix the ruler value issue, but it causes the automatic scale on the y-axis to go wonky. On the attached screenshots, the auto-scale goes 0-1000 using the "Interpolated" alogorithm even though we don't have those values configured anywhere. Using the "End", the automatic scale works as expected, but the ruler value stops working consistently.
I can't seem to find an algorithm where the automatic scale and ruler works together.

Have you tried 'Average Interpolated' which does not have the gaps where samples are absent?
