Hi looking for some advice (or point me in right direction), new to GeoScada and my application is Omron NX PLC <-> Kepserver OPC to Geoscada. Have standard AIOs in plc and building templates with a parameter deviceID to reference the PLC UDT. Sort of have it working trying 1 tag with the attached expression.
My question, is this the right way to go?, is there any info on the write format for the expressions.
Also is there a way to disable the control VQT popup when writing to a tag?
thanks in advance,
Clive

Hi,
I don't know of any best practice for writing expressions.
You can use Name and FullName in expressions to derive settings from the name of the instance.
You are likely using the default pick menu action - you can control pick actions more specifically using a method pick action and/or pick action menu.
