Simatic s7 driver with PLC 1200

Hello everyone, I would like to know if the GeoScada Expert simatic s7 driver is compatible with plc 1200 since I only see that it can be configured for plc s7 200 - s7 300 - s7 400; And if so, could you give me an example of communication?

I have not tried this but a colleague wrote "The only issue we found was that the 1200/1500 have different defaults (on the PLC) for the 'slot' and 'cpu' config fields, so you might not be able to use a S7-300/S7-400 config [for a 1200/1500] without changing these."

In my opinion you'd be better off with an OPC server (Siemens or Kepware, etc) that allows you to address your data blocks by tag names rather than turning off optimized blocks and addressing everything; then connect the OPC server to Geo SCADA. Using GS templates and property overrides with structured tag naming makes it so nice and easy to setup your SCADA.

It can be done.
You should use Rack 0 Slot 1, you MUST only reference Unoptimized DBs, and you MUST enable unrestricted PUT/GET access.
