Hello,
I'm trying to create a dropdown menu that appears when you hover over it. The issue I'm facing is related to PosVal
: when I hover over it, it starts looping between the new position and the old one.
I tried using a different item, resizing it with the size parameters, and creating a group with the menu options, but it didn't work as expected.
(Example of what I'm trying to create)
Any suggestions?

We probably need more specifics.
Assuming you don't want to use the menu. features in script, can you control the visibility of the menu?
Not sure why you'd use PosVal, unless you need to move it up and down?

This might be a way to have the effect you desire:
1. Have a button (or text) with a rectangle that blends in with the background:
2. Group the objects together, set "Visible" to False and Hover:
3. Have your buttons built out for the menu:
4. Place those buttons behind the group. Now when you hover, it will hide and expose the menu underneath.
The only caveat is that this applies to the empty space taken up by the rectangle used to "hide" the entries. When you hover over that empty space, it will reveal the list. That's the only way I could think of to generate the visual.
I personally prefer the built-in Form builder, even at the cost of an extra click to initiate the menu.

To answer both:
I want to manage the visibility of the menu by hovering over the button, not by clicking it. Moving the buttons would be a way to hide the other options so that they appear only when I hover over the main button.
The issue with the proposed solution is that once you hover over the entire block—not just the menu button—everything appears. Also, it would only work if there weren't any borders or background colors interfering.
Also, I just noticed a weird resolution issue while zooming in and out. Sometimes you can see the borders of the item underneath the box.
