Scripting embedded trends
We have just done a migration of remote assets from Citect/Plant SCADA to Geo SCADA. I am getting some complaints from operators (as you do) that they need to click into the trend timeline and change the time scale through there whereas in Citect there were time navigation buttons to quickly click forward/back in time and it also has a script interface to the process analyst. Process analyst rocks and it is quite frankly one of the only good things about Citect these days.
I know about the TRENDSPEC function but I don't believe there is any way to deal with embedded trends this way. Only thing I could think of is creating multiple pre-defined trend objects with different time scales or something like that.
