Scadapack 334 RTU Communication Error
Hello,
I am using a Scadapack 334 RTU at a Waste Water Treatment Station and communicating with Geoscada 2021 in the control center via DNP3 using a GSM Router. However, I am experiencing intermittent communication issues where the connection is lost with the control center. While the RTU is still operational locally, it appears to have lost connection with the SCADA. I am only able to access the RTU via Telnet and using the command "restart rtu" in Telnet restores the connection. Can you assist me with this issue?

This sounds like it wants a Wireshark capture of the communication during the failure.
GeoSCADA Expert should detect the lack of reply to a connection attempt, and should raise an alarm, then it will retry to connect at some configured interval.
It's possible that the SCADAPack is doing something weird in its logic that has it only talking to another server configuration.. there's just too many possibilities given the limited info you've provided.
Are you sure it's a SCADAPack 334 and not a SCADAPack 334E? They behave very differently.
You're not having to power cycle the modem or similar? Is the RTU always accessible over the network during this period, just not responding to DNP3?
