Having used the forum now for a little while, I've noticed a couple quirks and things I don't like compared with the old forum. Not sure if anything can be done about these as the forum is likely hosted and provided by others, but for what it's worth...
1. The Next button at the bottom of the post results doesn't seem to know what the ending page index is. Once you reach the final page of post results, you can just keep on clicking on Next and it just increments the results page parameter and you get a refreshed page with no results in it... There should be a limit, and it would be extremely useful to have page numbers to easily jump to them.
2. Post Update emails don't have any information in them apart from "Bob replied to topic X". In the old forum, and most other forums I frequent, their actual reply is attached to the email. Good forums will also include the post that they're replying to as well so that you don't need to login to see if you need to reply back.
3. You can't seem to paste more than one image from the clipboard into a post. If you try, it attempts to upload the image to the same filename as the first image which reports an error and fails.
Otherwise, the new forum is a welcome change from the previous dated one.
Cheers,
Nick
