[Imported] Map Layers: Other formats

Currently only ArcGis, Bing, OpenStreetMaps and WMS are supported.
WMS appears to be a dead standard from most GIS suppliers.

Are there plans to implement others means of layers? OpenLayers, WMTS, KML, etc.
Source we are looking to get data from is MapBox (WMTS, OpenLayers)
