Dear All,
Since yesterday, GEOSCADA failed to generate or export most of the crystal reports available on the system.
it takes the report generate or export request and after awhile (almost 10 minutes) a time out reported in the events journal .
appreciate any suggested solutions

What's the full message in the event log, sometimes that can be specific as to the cause. You'll also need to check the Crystal Reports driver log file for errors.
What changed on the system the past few days? Something that might be seen as "irrelevant" such as setting a workstation name in the Configure Connections might cause some problems (although maybe not a 10 minute delay) as it only allows one client to connect.

We did look after what changes was made in the system.
One of the crystal reports was exported to disabled user (cause)

This seems more like something that you should raise with your local Tech Support.
You will need to collect both the DB logs and the Driver Logs (Crystal Reports) for these such events.
It would also be helpful if you had the Driver Logs for when things were working.
You should compare environments also.
Things obviously worked before, and now they don't work. What has changed?
Have the Crystal Report queries been changed?
Has someone enabled anti-virus scanning of historical files / GeoSCADA Expert files which now causes performance issues with retrieving data?
Is the Crystal Reports driver been disabled? or otherwise prevented from doing things in a timely manner?
