Hello,
I can't generate datas. There is a different error. On the Crystal reports design screen, I can draw the data with ODBC and make a print view. However, when I press the generate button in Geo SCADA, it gives the following error and does not generate. Below are the settings I made.
Also, when I try to log in with "emre" user, I cannot login to SCADA because of report user is selected in "emre" user. When I deselect Report user, I can log in with "emre" user. When report user is not selected in "abdullah" user so i can login to SCADA.
What's the problem? Can you help me?

The "Failed to open the connection" error from Crystal Reports is usually due to the ODBC DSN used by the Crystal Reports driver not being setup correctly (on the main server). It either doesn't exist, has the wrong name or is misconfigured (e.g. bad credentials). See Driver Reference > Crystal Reports Driver > Configuring Crystal Reports Server Settings in online help for more details on how to setup DSN.
The screenshot shows a system DSN called "emre" has been created on the client where the report is being created. For the driver to generate a report a system DSN needs creating on the main server (if this is a different machine) and you must tell Geo SCADA the name of this DSN so it knows which one to use (see help link above).
A user with the "Report User" option is enabled can only logon via ODBC, see "System Administration > Security > User Accounts > Define Whether a User Account is Used for Report Generation" section in the online help. Usually report users would be created exclusively for generating Crystal Reports which are locked down to only have the access required by the reports.

Hello,
We've faced similar issue>>>
if you check the log file of crystal reports driver (it connects to GEO SCADA with "Geo SCADA Expert" neglecting the ODBC name you've defined)
Try to change the name of ODBC Data Source to "Geo SCADA Expert" in the ODBC Data Source Administrator (64 bit and 32 bit)
then change the data source for the crystal report driver from server configuration
then restart the server
I' m sure it will works fine
