Hi,
I need to have clear and fast to reach guideline about setting up communication between GEOSCADA and SCADPACK different models. I have done this with other RTU models rather than SCADA and novice in it.
3 main connection items, CHANNEL, OUTSATION SET and OUTSTATION are main questions.
There are 3 folders to us in GeoSCADA : SCADAPACK 5, SCADA x70 and SCADAPACK E. with different configuration items. ( x70 has a blue gears icons series 5 need telephone number and so on ).
As a first question:
For 5 series, CHANNEL, OUTSATION SET and OUTSTATION, is there any basic guide to setup these 3 parts?
I will ask other models later to prevent tedious long questions.
Thanks in advance.

There are multiple SCADAPack 5-series devices and you've not specified which ones your using.
There are the newest SCADAPack 57x devices (570, 574, 575):
https://www.se.com/uk/en/product-range/66030-scadapack-57x/
There are the older SCADAPack 500E devices (530E, 535E):
https://www.se.com/uk/en/product-range/63000-scadapack-500e
You've not specified whether you simply want to retrieve data and issue controls or whether you want Geo SCADA to manage the configuration of the devices. You've not specified how you are communicating with the devices (serial, PSTN, network etc.) which makes a big difference.
For simple data retrieval and controls the Geo SCADA generic DNP3 driver can be used.
To also manage the configuration of 57x devices the Geo SCADA SCADAPack x70 driver should be used.
To also manage the configuration of 500E devices the Geo SCADA SCADAPack E driver should be used.
The online help contains extensive information on configuring channels, outstations sets and outstations, both in general and for the specific drivers.

I appreciate it, Andrew, As always great support from you.
My main issue was connection issue and how to define points and how to config them to communicate properly between SCADA Pack and GEOSCADA, as they have different way to setup based on RTU's model.
Almost all communication protocols are DNP3 in them.
By the way, I successfully setup and tested the send and receiving data from/to RTU to/from SCADA.
Thanks again for your support.
