Hi,
I am trying to show ViewX screen in Citect SCADA using ActiveX control. I am not able to find the .OCX file for registering the file.
Is this be possible, Can we call ViewXCtrl in SCADA screen using Active X ?
Please help me on this...

Sorry, no. The ActiveXCtrl module is only capable of being embedded into the Geo SCADA web service.

I dropped the idea of taking viewx into citect. instead i used web browser and used Webx client . this solved by problem !!

Sorry, no. We are moving web users from ActiveX to HTML5 in Virtual ViewX, so we will not extend the ActiveX capability.
Note that Virtual ViewX cannot be embedded into another app.

I haven't had interest to try. But it really doesn't work in an IFRAME or similar?
That's a bit of a shame. Whilst it wouldn't be pretty, I could see some applications where that might be desirable.

If both the IFRAME host and the internal content are within the controlled space it's all ok (and that's where cors comes in.. assuming it's cross origin to start with..).
Both the host and content for the IFRAME may even be from the same host in which case there's no security concern, and no cross origin issues.
But back before cors, just having script that would detect and bust IFRAME usage was common.
